First off, I will explain, to the people who have been loyal to Dolls in the Mist for a long time, why the site has not been updated in so long. The server that we got after Angelfire (t35) was having problems, and I could not update at all. I could not even log into my account to say that the site had moved, or anything. So it just sat. FINALLY, the problem was fixed but all the files were GONE. So I had to go with what was saved on my computer- most of the core stuff, but not the newest updates. So I tried to start updating before I uploaded. Frankly, that was taking too long, so I have decided to upload what I have and try to update the rest! I know that a lot of sites don't work. If you know the address of a site that is not working, email it to me, but if you only know that it isn't working, please don't bother. A lot of sites are so popular that they are down constantly due to bandwidth issues. This is not my fault. If the site says that the page is "Currently Unavailable for Viewing", this means that the site is over its bandwidth. None of this is my fault! So please don't blame me. I'll try to get notices up about that when I update things. Which will go slowly.

Lets face it. This is a hard site to run alone. You have to go find banners for each site, that takes a lot of searching, then you have to judge the site and write a review. It takes a LOT of time, its like a full time job and when it becomes that it is just not fun anymore.

Secondly, you will soon notice some changes as I reorganize and update things. From now on, any site that rates 3 or below will only be listed- I will not take the time to write a review. There are just TOO MANY drag and drop sites out there. As it is, there are so many good ones htat I will still have my work cut out for me to keep updating. There will also be other changes, as you will see later on.

Thirdly, Updating will probably start to be slower, because I am now in College (Cornell University so I have to work even harder) and I have a lot less time to devote to this site. I hate to do this to you, I know how it feels when people don't update, especially when you go to that site every single day, but there's not much I can do about it except struggle through as much as I can. I may or may not be recruiting friends to help me with the site. I promise to NEVER take this site down as long as there are people around who need it, but I won't be able to update much.

But, i don't want you to desoair!! Dolls in the Mist will still be here, hopefully forever. And in the hard times, feel free to check out other sites like the following ones, they have links to dollmakers, bases, and other fun things so that you can search even when dolls in the Mist is not in the best shape:
